Angie Saccaro Ministries is proud of the work and worship that its volunteers and participants have placed into You Matter Prison Ministry. The Ministry began after Angie was given the desire by God to take her gifts of healing and worship outside the brick and mortar house of praise; it wasn't long until her desire was matched with many other faith-filled souls.

 

You Matter Prison Ministry partnered with the Milwaukee Secure Detention Center in 2017 and have received a spectacular response. The Chaplin has called it “ the most impactful program”, along with inmates expressing their true connections with the Holy Spirit. The Covid-19 Pandemic brought many changes to the ministry. We were not allowed to enter the correctional facility for over a year, but during that time we sent in over 60 newly written Bible studies to five WI facilities, held care package drives for the staff at Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility twice, held Bible and Christian book drives and prayed weekly as a team. Since the facilities re-opened for volunteers in July 2021, God has expanded our reach to four facilities: Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility, Taycheedah Correctional, Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center, and Racine Correctional.

It is our goal to spread the gospel, create connection with a transforming God, and provide hope

to inmates during their time of reform.

In 2024, we were privileged to begin entering Milwaukee Women's Correctional.  And in 2025, we were able to begin serving at Sturtevant Transitional Facility. With each passing year The Lord has continued to breathe life into new partnerships. We strive to be led By God into facilities in His perfect timing for His grace to carry us and fruit to be evident. What began as a ministry partnering with one facility

is now in active partnership with six correctional facilities in Wisconsin. We’re excited to see

where else doors open and witness countless

more lives be transformed.
